Hotel Therme/ Vals

The "Temporaries" in the Hotel Therme.

The basic furnishings with the black egg-shell lacquered furniture designed by Peter Zumthor is the same in all rooms and yet every rooms is different: bright Kelims or Gabehs, 20th century furniture classics from Eileen Gray, Mies van der Rohe, from Le Corbusier to Jasper Morrison, pure silk curtains in different colours to tone with the carpet in every room. You sleep in a King-size bed in pure linen (with two blankets, if you prefer), the chocolates are made on the premises by our own confectioner, there are fresh apples and flowers, a stereo unit with a choice of CDS (TV on request and free of charge). Bathrobe, pool slippers, body care products from Trussardi, minibar and high-speed Internet connection are all standard.

Selva House

The seven-storey Selva building, set in front of the Hotel Therme is connected to the central element of the Hotel Therme by a covered passage. This means you can go straight to the spa in your bathrobe (The robe is waiting for you in your room). The Selva House presents itself in the interlinked white architecture of the sixties. Here again, the transformation starts from the inside: Peter Zumthor has redesigned 12 rooms.
